Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo Self Empty
Vacuum-mop combos make it easy to keep floors clean. These machines are ideal for quick cleaning runs between more thorough vacuuming.
If you're looking for a hands-off mopping experience, you should consider the Roborock S7 Max Ultra. Its base is large but not unattractive and it can hold clean and dirt water tanks big enough to last for several sessions.
iRobot Combo j7+
The Combo J7+ is an amalgamation of the Roomba J7 vacuum cleaner and mopping features that wet. The smart robot cleans up spills and sticky messes while avoiding obstacles, and then returns to its dock at the end of its cleaning routine. It's a great option for homes with hardwood floors and can also be used to clean tiles or rugs with a mix of surfaces.
Like all Roomba models The Combo j7+ is excellent at sucking up dirt and debris. Its intelligent navigation is supported by iRobot OS technology and PrecisionVision, which allows the bot to identify common objects that are in its path, such as pet waste or cords--and avoid them completely. The iRobot Combo j7+ can even avoid furniture, such as tall chairs with backs, which could catch the robot under them.
When the iRobot Combo j7+ detects that it is on a surface which requires cleaning the robot arm raises and swings the mopping pad beneath it. This is a very simple system that performed well during my testing. However, I found that it was not able to completely clean away water-based liquids like wine or juice. Thankfully, the mopping pad can be easily washed and reused.
The front camera of the iRobot Combo is also very useful. It can spot dangers such as power cords and pet waste and be sure to avoid them for thorough cleaning. This feature is better than most robot vacuums' cameras, as they may get stuck on items like rug tassels. The iRobot Combo ju7+ front camera has blind spots that can cause it to miss certain objects.
The iRobot Combo ju7+ is expensive, but it does the job well enough to justify its price. It has a very high satisfaction rating and customers like its smart features. It's worth looking at alternatives, such as the Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni. It's cheaper than the iRobot Combo h7+ and can heed voice commands without the need for third-party integration, as it can mop and vacuum in just one go. It also has a large reservoir of water and its mopping pad self-cleansing.
Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision
The Scout RX3 Home Vision robot vacuum and mop is a full-featured robot vacuum that has all the advanced features you'd expect from the top brands. You can remotely monitor your home using its camera, and you can also watch it in action using the app. (Although the app does not offer the same high-resolution images like the camera).
Mops are excellent to clean tile carpets, wood and rugs as well as taking care of dirt, and pet hair. They also have efficient obstacle avoidance, which doesn't push small and light objects, such as socks or toys, around the floor. It's among the best mopping robots that we've ever tested. It also comes with a magnetic strip that you can use to block off areas the robot won't be capable of reaching like rooms that have a lot of cables.
However, the robot is not equipped with the other features that are expected of a robot of this type. While the mops do a fantastic job, their maximum runtime is 60 minutes and is less than we'd like to see on such a premium product. It doesn't even vacuum after a mopping session, or automatically empty its charging station.
It's an ideal choice for people with large homes because the cleaning and mapping process are fast and efficient. The app is simple to use, and you can make schedules. If you don't have a strong internet connection, you can manage it using the remote or via voice integrations with Alexa.
The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision isn't cheap, but its many smart features make more than. The live monitoring of your home is fantastic and it looks cool as well. It's a great option for those with pets, young children, or who is looking to monitor their home even when they're away. Many people who own a robot mop and vacuum combo say that they are amazed at how much their floors get cleaner after starting to utilize them regularly.
Roborock S7 Max Ultra
Roborock's latest robot vacuum and mop combo self-empty model, the S7 Max Ultra ($1299 at Amazon), is a great upgrade over the previously excellent S6 and S7 models. It comes with a variety of great features, including aggressive mopping, higher suction power (up to 5,100Pa as opposed to the earlier models which had 2,400Pa) and more. It also has precise lidar navigation that works like radar in 3D that is, it can see things such as chair legs, baseboards, and furniture legs to efficiently move around them. It can also create custom cleaning routines that you can launch by pressing a button for example, a "After meal" mode that scrubbing and scrubs kitchen floors.
This two-in-one also features an exclusive feature not found in many other robots. VibraRise raises the mopping pad when it detects carpeting in order to keep the area rug from getting wet. It also makes mopping more effective. robot vacuum self empty features a deep-cleaning mode that mops and vacuums carpets in one go cleaning more dirt and dust than mops that spin. You can also use the app to set an agenda for your regular cleaning or clean on the go.
While the S7 Max Ultra does a excellent job in its tasks however, it's not without its flaws. The price is the most significant. It's also the most expensive robotic mop and vacuum combo I've ever reviewed. Other issues aren't specific to this model and more indicative of the robotic vacuums in general It's not able to deal with heavy spills or large, sticky messes with ease.
The S7 Max Ultra is easy to setup: just connect it to the internet, sync it with your phone via Wi-Fi and start a cleaning run. Once you've done that you can alter the settings of the app. For instance you can create no-go zones and schedule cleanings.
Another benefit is its outstanding obstacle avoidance system. In the course of testing, it only got stuck in tight spaces twice, which is better than the S6 MaxV's three tries, or the X1 Omni’s four tries. The app lets you mark an object as a temporary obstruction, and the S7 Max Ultra ignores it when it comes to cleaning.

Narwal Freo
The Narwal Freo is one of the few robots that incorporate vacuuming and mops in its design. It's one of the most affordable combo bots we've tested. The Freo is an excellent choice for anyone who needs a combination cleaner. Its outstanding cleaning capabilities, as well its wide array of customization options, make it a great choice. The absence of the latest obstacle-avoidance technology and a polished mobile application diminished our enthusiasm for the model.
The first step to get the Freo up and running is a quick scan of your home which helps it determine the area it will cover while cleaning. It takes about a minute to complete this process. Once the Freo has a better idea of where everything is located it will be capable of navigating more efficiently in subsequent cleanings.
Freo can also register a room for either mopping or dry vacuuming. This allows it to be more efficient in switching between these two functions. It's also smart enough to detect when the mop pads need to replaced and return to dock to replenish them before returning to clean hard surfaces.
The Freo's ability to mop and vacuum carpets is one of its strengths. The mops pads of its twin are automatically raised when the Freo comes into contact with carpet which allows it to make use of less power and resources while still removing debris. It also thoroughly sucks up sand and oatmeal that has been spilled without requiring multiple vac/mop passes.
The Freo's tilted side-brush is inspired by street sweepers and is effective at attracting and sweeping up dirt particles. The Freo's sleek design and premium finish makes it a striking piece of equipment. The robot can be controlled via an LCD screen on its base station. However, we prefer to use the app for smartphones.
The app comes with a range of settings to customize the Freo's behavior. These include schedules for busy rooms and spot cleaning, and an option to activate the parental lock. You can also set the amount of time the Freo spends air drying its mop pads as well as set preferences for how often it cleans its trash bin. You can also specify a maximum size for the trash bin.
